Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions before placing your order.

“The Company” means The Beagle’s Bakery & Empawrium Ltd.

“Terms” means these terms and conditions

“Goods” means any items offered for sale by The Company

“You” means any Customer, Individual or Company who places an order with The Company for Goods

“Contract” means the acceptance by The Company of an order placed by You and such acceptance shall occur when The Company agrees to accept the order and communicates this to You

How To Place An Order

Please browse our store and place your desired items in the “basket”. Once You have finished shopping please proceed to the “checkout”, input your required delivery date, complete your order details and enter your payment information. When The Company forwards confirmation of your order, this will confirm the beginning of the Contract. The Company must receive full payment of the price of the Goods and delivery charges prior to your order being accepted. The Company reserves the right to refuse any order and is not obliged to provide any reason to You, although will endeavour to do so. The Company will let You know when your order has been accepted by means of an email using the information provided when the order was placed. The Company will let You know when your order has been dispatched by means of an email stating “Your order has been completed” using the information given when the order was placed. Although every effort is made for each order to be as described, as every product is hand made, it is possible there will be some variations in colour and size.

Allergies & Special Dietary Requirements

Please ensure You check with your vet if your dog has any special dietary requirements or allergies prior to ordering any Goods from our site. The Company is not able to advise on products for medical conditions. Even though none of our Goods are made with any egg or dairy ingredients, they are made in an environment which also handles egg and dairy products. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the area is clean and clear of all obstacles and cross contamination risks, The Company cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions to any of our Goods.

Contracts

These Terms shall apply to every Contract. When You place an order with The Company then You are agreeing to be bound by these Terms. The Company may ask for additional information it requires in order to fulfil the Contract and there shall be no liability upon The Company for non-performance if the necessary information is not provided.

Payments

The Company accepts payment only by PayPal for Goods ordered through the website. PayPal will take payment at the time of purchase. The Company accepts payment by bank transfer, cash or PayPal for Goods ordered via telephone, email or social media. Goods will only be prepared and dispatched to You once payment has been made in full.

Delivery

Standard delivery is via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For. Delivery usually takes 1-3 working days from dispatch therefore The Company will dispatch all Goods posted via this method 3 working days prior to the required date given when ordering.

Exceptions to this include:

– if the total weight of Goods exceeds 2kg, in which case the order will be posted via Parcelforce48. This will be dispatched a minimum of 2 working days before the required date given when ordering.

– if the total value of Goods exceeds current compensation limits set by Royal Mail, in which case the order will be posted via Parcelforce48. This will be dispatched a minimum or 2 working days before the required date when ordering.

– if the required date given conflicts with a bank holiday or festive/seasonal period The Company will allow extra time for postal deliveries.

Goods will not be left in any location other than with a person who can sign for the Goods. If You are unable to accept delivery of Goods then You will be responsible for collection from the depot holding the Goods and liable for any payment for additional delivery arrangements. All Goods will be guaranteed free from defects at the time of dispatch unless otherwise notified or stated. You must notify The Company of any defects within 24 hours of delivery and The Company must be given a reasonable opportunity to view the Goods.

The Company accepts no responsibility or liability for Goods damaged or failure/delayed delivery due to adverse weather conditions.

The Company cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day unless You opt and pay for Special Delivery; to do this please contact us before placing your order.

In the event of late or non-delivery of Goods we will endeavour to replace the Goods in reasonable time. Where this is not possible or at the discretion of The Company, the total cost of the Goods and delivery charges will be refunded in full.

Cancellation

If You wish to cancel an order which has been placed with The Company this must be done so within 7 working days of the delivery date in order to receive a full refund. Refunds for cancelled orders are as below

Cooling Off Period, Exchange & Returns

With the exception of personalised and/or perishable items, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (replaced the Distance Selling Regulations 13/06/2014), You have a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period. If You decide to exercise your consumer rights You will be liable for the cost of postage to return your Goods to The Company in their original packaging and in an unused condition. In order to do this You must provide notice of cancellation in writing, by post or email, to our stated business address within the cancellation period. Goods must be returned to The Company within 14 days of notification of cancellation. A refund of Goods only will be provided only once the Goods have been received at our business address in a re-sellable condition. You should obtain proof of postage from your chosen carrier when returning the Goods. Ideally You should return the Goods by a Signed for service to enable both parties to track the progress. The Company accepts no responsibility for Goods lost in transit back to our business address, such cases should be taken up with your chosen carrier.

Returning Faulty Goods

If any of the Goods purchased from The Company are faulty or have been sent to you in error you have the right to return them under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have 30 days to reject non-perishable Goods. If You wish to reject perishable Goods this must be done within the given shelf life. The Company, should they wish, must be given one opportunity to repair or replace the damaged Goods before a refund is offered. The Company will arrange collection of such Goods by courier. Regardless of whether a replacement is provided or a refund is offered, all faulty goods must be returned to The Company.

Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable to You in the event that The Company is unable to carry out any part of the Contract for causes beyond its control. The Company will attempt to notify You as soon as is reasonably possible in such circumstances and You will be refunded in full as soon as possible.

Although The Company has made every effort to describe and display every item as accurately as possible please take into account that all of our products are handmade and variation in colour, size, weight and shape is inevitable. The images and information supplied is for informational purposes only. The Company cannot be held responsible for the content of any other website that is linked to ours.

Prices

The price You pay will be shown at the checkout on our website or for orders placed by other means will always be supplied to You in writing by The Company. The Company reserves the right to revise quoted prices in the event of unforeseen or increased expenses incurred by The Company. P&P prices will be provided on request and will be in accordance with Royal Mail charges.
